Read MoreA solo exhibition of 50 of Jerrod’s drawings will be shown at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Jackson County Fine Arts Gallery. The work will span from 2003 when he began graduate studies at the New York Academy of Art to the present. Included will be drawings from New York, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Italy and Japan. Opening reception for the exhibition will be on March 12 (12:15pm), and run through April 16.

Jerrod will discuss the art that he made and the art that he experienced on a recent trip to Tokyo. Landscape Architect Dianne del Cid will discuss the traditional gardens of Japan, and Preservation Architect Donald del Cid will discuss the history of the architecture in the country. The lecture is free and open to the public with a $5 suggested donation at the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center in downtown Ocean Springs, MS. From 5:30-6:30 will be an exhibition of work by Jerrod with the presentation beginning at 6:30pm.
